Eligibility Criteria For Current Assam Power Recruitment 2023
Educational Qualifications –
- For the posts of Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO), applicants must have passed Bachelor Degree in any stream.
- All the HSSLC passed applicants can apply for Office cum Field Assistant posts.
- For the Light Vehicle Driver posts applicants must have passed HSLC and also have a Valid Driving License.
- For the Sahayak posts, they all have passed HSLC and ITI in the relevant stream.

Age Limit –
- Interested applicant’s age should not less than 18 years but not more than 44 years as on 1st January 2023.
- OBC/MOBC candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 47 years.
- SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 49 years.
- Departmental candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 45 years.

Selection Method –
- The recruitment authority will select the applicants for the declared posts on behalf of written test and interview. Those applicants who will qualify in the written exam will go for the Interview.
